I was awaiting the completion of Denis' puzzle before posting this "LINKWORDS".

Add a Linkword to the end of the word on the left and the beginning of the word on the right to form two compound words of phrases. The dashes indicate the number of letters in the Linkword. For example, if the words were PEANUT _ _ _ _ _ _ FLY, the Linkword would be BUTTER ( Peanut butter, Butterfly).

Maybe just do two, then allow others to try, and then another day do one or two more. I will give the answers from this Word Puzzle Book on Monday. It is now Saturday here. There may be more than one word that fits. That's fine.
