HI! I posted a few months ago saying that I thought my fibromyalgia pain and bone and muscle pain might be casued by Fosamax. I have been off it for weeks and find it did not seem to make any difference. I am about 10 months post amalgam removal and have done a lot of chelating with algin and know I have gotten a lot of mercry and toxic substances out of my body. At the time of removal I had 3 root canaled teeth extracted that the dentist thought might be problematic. I did a biocompatibilty test and had several crowns replaced with supposedly good dental materials but they contained some metal. I still have a few root canaled teeth that the Huggins trained dentist thought were ok. I still have fairly significant fibromyalgia pain and some chronic fatigue but it is better than it was. I have also gotten some relief from the brain fog and have more energy. I still have tinninitus but it has lessened. Does anyone have any idea what else I may try. I hate to extract any more teeth if pulling several already did not help much. Should I just press on and hope it will get better eventually. I am on a super healthy diet and take a good vitamin. I have tried other supplements and vitamins for chelation but is seems as if the more I took the worse the symptoms got so I have backed off on them some. What might else be a problem for me? Any suggestions? Thanks!

According to Dr. Cutler's book, Amalgam Illness, mercury interferes with the body's ability to use magnesium. This can cause muscle aches and pains, muscle stiffness and soreness, muscle cramps, and even heart problems. Extra magnesium is a chief recommendation for anyone with fibromyalgia and especially if you have or have had amalgam fillings. I would definitely try taking extra magnesium. I use a product called Magnesium Complex, which contains 2 forms of easily-absorbed magnesium. I can really tell a difference. No more sore/stiff muscles when I wake up. I can also work at the computers for hours and hours without getting a sore back or stiff/aching shoulder and neck muscles. You can even open the capsules and pour the contents under your tongue for faster absorption. Hope this helps. Keep us posted!

hi notek
it may be worth you looking into lyme disease. have a look at dr joseph burrascano's treatment guidelines for lyme disease and other tick bourne illnesses. look at the symptoms page and compare them with your symptoms. a lot of cfs/me is actually undiagnosed lyme disease. you can be tested at the bowen lab in the usa whose tests are very accurate. they do have a web site.
hope this helps.

Hey notek, If your aches are in your muscles, I would suggest trying something that promotes circulation and ATP production. Here are a couple things I would recommend: Fibralgia (malic agic & magnesium) Ginkgo-Biloba Hope this helps.

Hi notech,
It may be time for you to do a fungus cleanse.
Since fungus/yeast can go deep into the bones and people with mercury have waaay too much fungus (candida, etc) and you are post-mercury and have detoxed......a fungus cleanse might be the right time now.
Do a search for Doug Kaufmann, he has a book called "The Fungus Link" you might find him helpful.
