I agree, Boldy. That was my understanding of Genesis "these will be food unto thee" - meaning fruits and plants, not animals. Elephants etc are huge creatures that survive and thrive on no meat, so I really don't think it's necessary for humans, except that we've got lazy. The only denomination I know who are vegetarians are Seventh Day Adventists.
