Can I obtain bulk DMSA powder anywhere? Because I'm really tired of paying 40 dollars for 45 100 mg caps. The price is inflated big time!

I just called vitamin research products asking if they sell DMSA in bulk. They still sell the 100mgx45, but they told me that the FDA is pressuring them to remove DMSA out of their product line. Naturally, the real reason they want it removed is because DMSA can cure.

Its true, VRP is not producing any DMSA and they are selling off the last of there stock. There may still be some other suppliers left, but the FDA will probably pressure them off the market as well. I stocked up a 2 year supply of it, and will store it in my fridge to make sure it stays fresh. That should be plenty of time for me to get well, but I fear that many won't have access to this very useful chelator in the future.

Many bulk sources are from china, and if you find any demand a certificate of analysis to check for heavy metals, as I hear many bulk DMSA sources are contaminated with heavy metals.

Good to know. How much did you pay for your DMSA per bottle? (I imagine you bought a bunch of bottles) I just saw on ebay that they have a brand of 100mg DMSA + 200mg vitamin C shipped from Canada. Not a bad price, I maybe pick some up. I don't know if it's Chinese though. I doubt it.

I think we're going to have to go the cilantro/ALA route once DMSA is prescription based. I emphasis cilantro because the effects on my brain of just half a cup of cilantro tea are the quivelant of like 100-300mg DMSA. In other words, it's powerful. Having experience with the tea, I will tell everyone to be very cautious with it. I do not recommend drinking 1-3 cup of tea. If anything, cilantro should be administered using the frequent dosage protocol outlined by Cuttler.

Hearing this news makes me sick. The FDA have so much to answer for! And now they dare to pressure suppliers to quit selling DMSA.

I am thankful that according to Cutler, DMSA is not essential. Though personally I think the stuff it brilliant (when taken correctly). I had an enormous help from it in clearing MUCH mercury out of my body. I have had bad experiences with it too, but mainly from slipping up on how I used it and having a severe candida condition that I was not treating at the time.

Even though it is claimed it does not chelate brain/organ mercury. I wonder if it does have at least "some" ability with organs - because I am doubtful my improvements from it would have occured simply from reducing blood levels - since I was using it for a long time and years past amalgam removal. I was well on my way to healing from mercury and I attribute alot of that to DMSA (as well as own efforts with diet and exercise and supplements).

Andy Cutler does say that those who do not want to use DMSA, can't afford it, or don't respond well to it, can just wait out the first few months and let the blood mercury reduce naturally. And they can simply take alpha lipoic acid after the blood levels have reduced to chelate their mercury.

So I'm in hopes that ALA will always be available!

I just bought 5 bottles of DMSA from VRP, but I'm wondering how many bottles you would need for a two year supply? As I've still not yet started chelation I have no way of knowing? But anyone who has bought a 2 year supply, how many bottles does that work out to be for you?
