OK, I thought you were excluding other causes of Alzheimer's.

Mercury facilitates chronic infections that can cause a myriad of problems. For example, I believe my bleeding duodenal ulcer was facilitated by mercury poisoning via chronic immune suppression and/or other mechanisms.

We have to be critical of the information we read. So many publications today are being used to spread disinformation and to distract us from the root causes of disease.

An example of this is the hype about elevated homocysteine.

It is taught, believed, and pharmaceutically treated by doctors today as a condition in and of itself. There is no thought given to the underlying cause of the condition, that is, the "root" cause. This lack of follow through prevents the "cure" from being found, and a lack of a cure means continued (lifelong) "treatments" which means residual pharmaceutical revenue.

We know that mercury causes elevated homocysteine by blocking the pathway following the methylation of B-12, a condition nearly always found in autistic children.

So, I simply encourage people to be critical of the information they read in publications until they really understand what is going on in the "supporting" study. Not that it's all bad (I'm not saying that), but we need to be aware that there is contamination in the well, so to speak.

This is important because there has been an increasing flood of deceptive studies done to promote everything from the use of mercury in fillings to fluoridation of water to passage of NutraSweet by the FDA.

Regardless of how people feel about corruption, conspiracies, and coverups, we are in the business of collating, collecting, and publishing information from research and studies so we see this deception occurring all the time. From misreporting the results of a study, to publishing summaries that are completely misleading, to creating studies that have a known outcome (with a blatant agenda), this activity is becoming more and more common.

So, we need to always be critical thinkers.

"The team discovered that the HSV1 DNA is located very specifically in amyloid plaques: 90% of plaques in Alzheimer's disease sufferers' brains contain HSV1 DNA, and most of the viral DNA is located within amyloid plaques. The team had previously shown that HSV1 infection of nerve-type cells induces deposition of the main component, beta amyloid, of amyloid plaques. Together, these findings strongly implicate HSV1 as a major factor in the formation of amyloid deposits and plaques, abnormalities thought by many in the field to be major contributors to Alzheimer's disease."

The title of the article is:
Cold Sore Virus Linked To Alzheimer's Disease: New Treatment, Or Even Vaccine Possible

Here we see the mention of a vaccine, a source of pharmaceutical residual income. We also see the mention of a treatment. Again, pharmaceutical residual income.

When we read this paragraph carefully, we find that associations are found, not causes. Furthermore, we find the phrase "thought by many", so we know this is an opinion, not a finding. We also find linkage-language such as "major contributors", again, not exclusive causation or conclusive evidence, but at the core, only an opinion of association.

So, when we boil this down, we are already conditioning the reader for residual treatments or vaccines, and all this on nothing more than an association based on opinion.

Of course, when you see the big picture, the reason NIH stopped all mercury-related research money after the Haley discovery described in this video, it makes perfect sense: If they find a cure, the residual pharmaceutical income stops:
