Hello everyone. I am 23 year old male and have had my fillings put in about 8 years ago (both silver and white). For the last decade I felt that something was wrong with me. I didn't know what though but I seemed to be unambitious, depressed, and was developing at a slower rate than my peers. I've searched and searched only to find something that I could temrorarely blame for all that's been going on with me until doubting everything and settling back where I started. Now as I ran into this issue I am once again motivated to help myself. I have several questions and if anybody can answer some or all of them that would be of great help to me and appreciated. For my first question I am wondering if all dental silver fillings put on by the dentists leak out mercury? If that's so then shouldn't everyone then remove their silver fillings at least ideally? Also I've read that some white fillings also contain mercury. If that is so then how can I know which teeth have been filled with mercury and which ones were not or none of them were filled? All that I can see right now is the silver filling on my lower jaw back tooth. It's quite a sceene. Now that I look at it I sence that the metal should not belong in my mouth. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />
