Inflammation, so I've heard, can also be a response in the body attempting to heal a certain area. Sometimes inflammation increases as a person is going through a healing crisis also. But is the inflammation itself the problem? Or is it just the body's response to the REAL problem? Which perhaps might cause us to look much deeper as to why it is occuring.... Here is a response to a few queries on a candida website regarding inflammation: +++It could be inflamed but remember that inflammation is the body's way of bringing more healing blood and immune system substances to the area. Apply heat to your abdomen (wet hot cloths are best) to help alleviate the pain. First the body detoxifies the area, which causes inflammation, redness, soreness, etc. and then it rebuilds. Inflammation > means your immune system is working hard at clearing out toxins from > the area, afterwhich it will rebuild. Inflammation and redness are > simply signs that more healing blood is being brought to the area. > Swelling is to immoblize the area so it can be healed better. Pus is > immune system substances which heal and help clear out toxins, etc. I think the best treatment is to apply a 50/50 mixture of olive oil and oil of oregano. To help the oil work, apply heat afterward too. Be sure to wash your hands well, so you don't accidently get it in your eyes.
