It looks like no one has heard of the products so far. I would appreciate it if someone, that has better knowledge than I on Mercury, would go to the website and look at the ingredients and give me their opinion.
Thanks

Hi bfree,
They have quite a few products. Which one are you referring to? I had a look at the fish oil and it looks pretty standard - but it does not indicate whether it's been mercury tested/mercury free. Usually it's wise to only purchase the fish oils that are screened for toxicity. Usually molecularly distilled as well, which removes any potential toxins.

It contains Milk Thistle I see, I was just talking or posting about that to Bex on the other thread. I think when cleansing or detoxing it's a must to take that as well, atleast 250MG of it.
Looks good it might work, I caution the 300 mg's of Selenium on there at first though, that might cause it to detox too fast? No? I took 100mg and felt crazy, it was too much. 100MG of ALA too, great stuff but don't you have to use it round clock? Will the other stuff in here help it from getting redistributed? Some in here start out in 12.5 mg because 100mg is way too much, so who knows? How will your body handle it? I can't tell you as I don't even know my own fully yet, but be careful if trying it and follow directions and monitor your body symptoms. The water they mention and bowel movements is a must! Part one and two I see, the part two if taken with it I can see keeping it from redistributing in your body because of the Chlorella (I DID WELL ON THIS) and Sodium Alginate which traps it and takes it out, so if taken together I don't see why not?). Get others opinions in here as I am no expert.

In Sanskrit, tulsi means literally "the incomparable one" and has been revered since ancient times. Tulsi, the holy basil, is said to have grown at the site of Christ’s crucifixion and is associated with St. Basil’s feast.

Bex I was talking about the Merc-Free especially.
Thanks Sean for taking the time to analyze so well. I just started the Smart Clense and then I am going to try the Merc-Free. I am six days into the Smart Clense and so far am doing OK. I am trying to eat fiber as said and then drink more water. This is the first time I have ever tried a clense.
I will post after the Merc-Free to let you know how it worked for me.
Thanks again Bex and Sean

Thanks again Bex and Sean Sorry bfree, I don't know where my brain is at right now. You did indeed state it was the mercury free one. I had a look and I'm sorry, I would not use this product - amino acids in supplement form (which is usually pretty high) in themselves can readily mobilise mercury and cause some very wild symptoms. However, couple that with a high dose of ALA (which is a powerful brain chelating agent). Andrew Cutler has repeatedly warned about high sulfur products (sulfur amino acids included) and the wrong use of ALA. I'm sorry and I do not mean to be a "fear mongerer" as I've been accused of before - but if I say nothing, I will feel very guilty if something bad happens. ALA, particularly such a high isolated dose is very very risky. If it's taken too early on after mercury exposure with a still high body/blood burden, it can move much more mercury INTO the brain and other more sensitive areas. On top of this, if it is not taken frequently - every 3 hours around the clock - the blood levels of ALA (chelating agent) become HIGHLY unstable. Spiking up when a dose is taken, but dropping again dramatically when no back up dose is given after 3 hours (apparently it takes that long before it's used up). So the movement of mercury becomes unpredictable and unstable, allowing the mercury to also be moved into worse and more sensitive areas (brain once again being one of them). There are many reasons why I would warn against a product like this. Yes there are many mercury detox plans out there, but they can be highly risky. I have tried many and been hurt horribly when I was very mercury toxic. And I am far from the only one. I would personally give it a miss, but that is up to you. I would only recommend Cutler's protocol because that is the only protocol that I have ever tolerated and didn't cause dangerous side effects and psychotic behaviours in me. And apparently many others find the same. Why take the risk if there is a protocol out there that is tried and tested, logical and safer than many others and has a good success rate? Just my opinion.

Bex I agree and good points! I said it was high too in those. I personally would use the Algin and Chlorella, which I TOLERATED WELL FOR YEARS! Not one side effect from the Chlorella! Andy advises against that and says it can stir up and make it worse, but it only helped me alot for some reason? Nothing else. I also tolerated Zeolite VERY WELL, it gave me no side effects and I felt great, yeast went down alot on it as well (As it does kill that too), so maybe I should try those again? Go with what you can handle I agree, some of us can't handle what the other can, but listen to your body and go for it! I agree there. I have had the scary moments with Selenium and even a little bit with Cilantro when I took too much, so those are out for right now (Selenium by far the worst). I could not handle Modifilan too much either, had some side effects. I am still surprised I did so well on the Chlorella like Russ did but it bugs others out? When taking it I could not imagine that there, I thought it was the best thing ever. Zeolite was nice too, very smooth.

Sean, I've heard similar regarding Chlorella. Some do very very well on that stuff and others get very sick. I had strange effects with it when I was in the early stages of mercury detox and had high blood/body levels. I had times where the reaction was so severe and dangerous that I was psychotic almost (ended up between the bed and the wall screaming and crying). Yet other times when I felt good after taking it.
Another time the reaction was so bad, even after i stopped, it took me 2 months to recover from the reaction. It did indeed mobilise far more mercury than my body could handle.
So the mixed responses were difficult. I also tried garlic supplementation and that was powerful also and very definitely moved mercury. Though I had to stop that too because the symptoms were beyond my ability to cope alot of the time.
Selenium was also a problem when I was high in mercury. Because it displaces mercury and can cause detox or redistribution reactions to a point. But it's not generally a chelator or mobilising agent in itself. When you replace what mercury depletes and gets in the way of, you get a certain amount of mercury redistribution apparently. Because mercury binds so much of what we need and takes their place. Replace those elements and you get a competing reaction. That's pretty much how I understand it. however, selenium was also a great help and began, after the reactions, to make me feel better and healthier and less toxic. Though I had to keep taking breaks at first until I got less and less toxic.
You can actually become acutely poisoned from using a mobilising agent, when the body had actually stored the mercury in the safest places it could before this. After mobilising, the body has little choice and the mercury goes anywhere and everywhere.
Selenium may not be a chelating agent - but it can indeed cause reactions. Possibly both from it's powerful antioxidant effects (aiding natural detox) and of course possible competition with mercury and displacement of some of it. Other than that, it's a pretty good one to take if you can tolerate it. But the best tolerated form is selenomethonine. Other forms may produce worse reactions. This seems better. Also start with a lower dose and work up to what you can handle, but be careful not to take too much. Probably no more than 200 mcg or so. Since yu maybe getting some from foods/nuts.
Even the addition of a good quality vitamin C powder with bioflavanoids was enough at first to precipitate a certain amount of metal movement and detox. Though not a direct chelating agent, the indirect power of increased antioxidant power can drive toxins out more efficiently and some of that maybe a certain amount of metals that have been more easily moved out (more accessible and surface perhaps).
Vitamin E is also an excellent choice. I'd say those three antioxidants (C, E and selenium), plus possibly zinc and milk thistle are great to use if tolerated. In fact, in my early stages all I took supplement wise was the E, C and selenium and they did ALOT for me. That plus diet and moderate exercise and hot baths for sweating (with the additon of epsom salts or baking soda and sea salt). Though I required proper chelation, those three things were very helpful along the way.
I did "ok" on a homeopathic detox kit from "HEELS". But even that was often too powerful. I had to take a much lower dose that indicated and take many breaks from it because it was so powerful in its detox ability. But certainly it was a great natural alternative. That was also instrumental in getting more metals out of me. I must not ignore that product, because I know that it helped.
Again, I just wound up using Cutler's mostly. His worked very well and got me on the road to more efficient and faster recovery without the psychotic episodes.
And of course diet is very very important. I'd say the starting point should be the diet as a foundation and then later, as one improves, adding the other stuff as tolerated.
I would never mess around with strong mobilising agents. I'd also not mess around with strong chelators like DMSA or ALA (alpha lipoic acid) (unless on a tested protocol like Cutlers).

Cilantro is known for removing mercury from deep body stores, like ligaments and tendons. It causes these tissues to expel the mercury, so you have to have some blood sulfur available when using it. It's better to use later in a detox plan, I believe. I would also mention that during my detox, I was physically active, playing racquetball often in the hot Florida sun. This is a great way to detox as sweating removes mercury and avoids blood and digestive paths so those organs are not at risk. Of course, you may find that moles and skin tags appear on the skin as a result of the mutations induced by mercury.

I am going to try those two, I tolerate them both well and see no reason why I should not begin on those two. Algin first right? Selenium in low amounts and Vitamin E? What did you use exactly Russ, I am interested in seeing the supplements you used to get better. I did Cilantro for about a week or two about 3 years after starting chlorella and using it faithfully, maybe thats why it did not really bother me too much? I used Zeolite too for a few weeks, never hurt me at all and I felt fine on it. Modifilan seems to be strong for me and high concentrated Selenium from plants, those both are very strong and make me feel crazy while detoxing it seems, for some reason?
