Did you know that according to the US government and other sites..
Mercury effects the central nervous system..

http://www.epa.gov/ttn/atw/hlthef/mercury.html

Doing a search on medications that can cause hyperacusis..
Type in CNS and hyperacusis and you will find links on medications that can cause hyperacusis.
Also tinnitus as well, as like with Benzo ..
It effects the CNS.
I believe that could go for abnormal auditory/ neurological sound disorders as well...
abnormality sound sensitivites.

Can removeing the toxin's from the CNS and possibly from the brain too help theses disorders???

A high percentage of the pink disease survivors had sound sensitivity problems & I read that on their main website
in a survey they responded too..
And pink disease was caused by mercury...

And we know that mercury can effect the auditory system and the brain.

CNS disorders can cause auditory problems..
And mercury effects the CNS..
Could there be a link in that area as well???

The exact etiology is unknown but there are promising studies that point to the part of the auditory system that regulates instructions from the central nervous system.

Every incoming signal is analyzed and responded to instantaneously by the central nervous system.

It is theorized in the case of hyperacusis that the central nervous system does not respond properly to the incoming signal, miscuing the amplifying or dampening actions of the cochlea and middle ear.
