I had a normal 25-D Hydroxy test run and was 20 ng/ml which is low. I have been supplementing with D3 and getting surprising results. Seems to cause a herx reaction but not the same as anti-candida and anti-lyme. Vitamin D is supposed to be key to operating the immune system. The VDR controls the immune system. If there is a deficiency that could be enough to allow any (most people have some type of virus and bacterial pathogens already) bugs to take control. The simple graduated supplementing of D3 may be all that is needed to return the system to normal

Here is some info on Vitamin D protocol

The test was only $80 from directlabs.com. I got mine almost by accident but now very glad I did.
