I have figured out my Chlorella quagmire. For me it has been a double edge sword. I would feel initially worse after taking it then much better. It wasn't until my experience with Charcoal and discovering that charcoal was removing things I needed that I thought Chlorella might be doing something similar. I supplemented B3, Tyrosine and B2 helped offset what the Charcoal was removing.

Chlorella messed up my head so bad I didn't consider it could be doing something similar to the charcoal. One morning after taking chlorella I got the same type of flushing feeling (whoosh) in my brain that I have gotten from taking tryptophan in the morning. The next night I took about 1g of Chlorella with 500mg of tryptophan and some aloe juice (mostly for the sugar to help tryptophan absorption). The next morning it was the normal me. Not the insane tortured brain me.

I surmise that chlorella somehow interfers with the production of serotonin (which is made in the gut). The tryptophan seems to correct that. You can mess with my dopamine, acetlycholine and epinephrine I can do ok (too much dopamine made me paranoid thanks to wellbutrin/bupropion). If you mess with my Serotonin, however, now that is some serious stuff. Very hard to handle being like that.
