WOW... so will they still be making teflon but with other (hopefully less dangerous) chemicals?

My sis has only stopped using teflon pans when she read it's VERY bad for parrots (the budgie!!)

Oh, & I'm not sure if 'throwing them out' like Dr Mercola says is the ultimate solution.. stuff can still get in water supply from unregulated landfills etc, no?

So, not buying is the best option...
