Yes, I have the same thing. Sometimes you don't even know if you're on the right track at first, because there are not always clear indicators. Sometimes there are.
The symptoms can be:
Increased symptoms you have already got Dizziness/light headed Feeling drunk Headache Weakness/fatigue exhaustion nausea loss of or increase in appetite cravings can increase for the very things yeast need to flourish increased anxiety/depression/nervousness nightmares or strange vivid dreams feeling cold moody/irritable tearfulness/crying spells increase in cramping (gut for example) gurgling in the gut increased itching/thrush (at first) increase in discharge rashes bone tired aching unable to think/concentrate properly
These are just examples of what can happen. Some people may simply feel pretty bad, but no real extreme symptoms. The only way they know they're getting better, is simply that they have been on the diet long enough and start to feel better again. Some people experience an increase in symptoms and even some new ones and it can be obvious what's happening.
It can take up to 2 - 6 weeks (or more in some cases) to feel healthier again. The key is not to cheat, which is hard going because it becomes a battle to resist the things yeast are crying out for. Once you get them reduced, the cravings become much less.
If one cheats on their diet, usually there is a relapse and depending on how sick you are, will depend on how long the recovery is.
Make sure you don't go hungry. That's when you may reach for something you shouldn't have. You become much more vulnerable to the cravings. So fill up on the stuff you can have and make sure you do it before you go out to someone's place or go out somewhere for an extended period. I can't tell you how many times I went out without eating enough and wound up at someone's house and cheated on my diet beause I was so hungry, I gave in. Then I relapsed and had to start again.
