hi. i'm still confused in general. its been 2 years since mercury drilling, and the problems i have from trying to survive from symptoms, mainly using then quitting valium, have almost become a bigger problem.
great site. great information.. don'tcha think all that conspiracy stuff could go onto one link so confused people can tell whats going on.
most of its probably true.. people just finding out about it sorta find it to be amazing and hard to believe and follow a pattern of letting everyone know.. but that battle has been going on for.. god knows how long.
its really confusing because being mercury poisoned makes ya feel depressed and all doom, and ya can't tell which way is up, so you need simple easy to follow information.. not scary stuff.
going to try the cutler protocol thing when i get the book, and hope my body can move with more freedom after some time passes from the valium withdrawal shock, had fits now its just really hard to walk and speak.
how has anyone managed to stick to taking stuff regular being so out of it from mercury? how did you get into a routine? and how to split the dmsa tablets? i wanted to try it 2 years ago, but am only focused enough to try it now
the bex person here seems to have some 20/20 hindsight happening still.. saw ya ages ago too.

Hi Benza, ((( Smiles )))
What you wrote is so true..
most of its probably true.. people just finding out about it sorta find it to be amazing and hard to believe and follow a pattern of letting everyone know.. but that battle has been going on for.. god knows how long.
For a long time it seems, too long.. I don't know how too delete user names Russ would know how to do that or someone else here. Is it in FQA?? There's got to be instructions somewhere on how too.. Maybe you have to register again. Sorry don't know.

Hi Benza, Yes hindsight is a good (but painful) thing. However, it's not so much hindsight over the mercury stuff as such, as I was healing well from it, (with culter's protocol after messing around with other stuff that hurt me alot) but more to do with infections that came later and I think could have been avoided if I had not messed around with an eye cosmetic. Didn't figure it would happen, and got an eye infection very serious, which spread into the rest of my body (and brain) certainly would never have envisioned it would do worse to me even than the amalgam, but it did and has. Just goes to show, if you have a system that has been poisoned by mercury for years...you can be much more suseptible to things like this happening. Even if you feel much better as I did, you're far from "immune". That plus possible jawbone gangrene/infection from possible cavitation. But that too is hard to diagnose. So nothing is "absolute". So what I deal with now, so far, has been permanent. But I do enjoy getting on these forums anyway and to be honest, even if I was well.....I think I'd still remain on here I like it and I'm so used to being here, I can't imagine leaving permanently. So I stick around (inbetween doing other stuff). I do sympathise with you a lot regarding the time factor of being poisoned, even after amalgams have been removed. It takes long enough to get better with chelation, so imagine how look it takes with none? You may never get there, if you have mercury in the brain. Only chelation appears to remedy that (brain chelators like ALA). However, wise to begin with DMSA first and see how you go. I hope you can perhaps get low dose DMSA, so you do not have to split them up too much. That can get annoying! It depends on how low a dose you require. You maybe lucky and might get away with larger doses than others. But it's wise to start low and check for reactions. Do not increase the dose during the chelation round, as this can upset the blood levels of the DMSA and make it spike up suddenly, which can cause the mercury to be moved in a simlar manner. You want to keep the doses the same, and even throughout the round and take them every 4 hours (and during the night) to keep everything even.

well hello
!
to to the both of ya! i read both posts but can only reply as best i'm able to what i remember.
in between doing other stuff? i'm not capable. i can eat food about 2wice a day.. and smoke a bit.. and play a bit of computer games but no normal emotional reaction from anything
held up a bit and could drive every now and then on high doses of codeine.. which i stopped cuz well its strong.
lowest dose dmsa i have is 100mg.. do you know how to break it up? like put it on a plate and err split it into 6 piles from one tablet for the day to make 24 hours.
what happened with the jinx guy. he used to articulate pain better than i could.. same experiences. all i could really write was.. short and "NOT FEELING GOOD" best i could do.
i don't have any contact with anyone really, so it would be more than nice to write, there is no choice other than isolate.. i have a fearful state, not one that anyone wants to be around.. locked thinking , extremely depressed.
i went to nz as a teen, i truly enjoyed it there.

so i'm taking NAC 600 mg for the next 4 days had 1 today, boosting glutathione stuff to get soooooooooooooome relief from valium, codeine, zydol withdrawal.
its sulphyr blah blah but i gotta try to balance what i'm doing my situation is really complex
its high i guess if it were accidentally part of unwanted chelation, i have to balance how much of the chelation i can do againt how well i'm eating and drinking. when it stops. i stop the chelation. i stop cuz food just seems aweful to eat, and i wanna get away from it.
at my weight any stopping of food is well i guess dangerous at just over 50 kilos for my build. i dunno the whole things pretty scary, knowing that i have a certain time to live would be comfort for me sums up how i feel. i'm not suicidal, just had enough, for a very long time

Benza, my advice is to get off the prescription drugs, and use them only as a last resort. If you need relief from symptoms, try finding a herbal remedies. Chelation made my symptoms much worse, and life much more miserable. I guess that makes sense since chelation pulls out deeply stored mercury and dumps it into the bloodstream. The Cutler protocol makes sense logically, but interrupting sleep to take doses can also contribute to fragile people feeling much sicker from improper sleep along with their other problems. I used to be in a rush to chelate and did several weeks of chelation with ALA, but this make me feel much worse after a while and I had to stop. Now I am scared to do any more chelation. I guess if I could find a chelation protocol that is more gentle and gradual than the Cutler protocol and doesn't interrupt sleep then I might try it. I think part of my problem is sleep problems, which imo contributes to my muscle ache.
Some people get some relief from licorice root, which helps detoxify the body and acts as a mild antidepressant. It is also a very mild laxative. I was using licorice root tea for a while, but haven't used it recently. I might start using it again though.

What they don't tell people on pain pills/prescription meds is that you can have kidney and/or liver failure from them. This happens more often than you'd think! People who pop a motrin or advil twice a day for years will likely have complete kidney failure later on. It will happen very quickly and you'll be on dialysis for the short amount of time you have left to live. If you are lucky you might find a transplant.
I will be on my 8th round of DMSA very soon and I am doing really well. Hair is growing back, so that is a huge indicator for me.
As for dividing up capsules, you do exactly what you just said. Now TAKE IT SLOW. Don't try to handle 20mg of DMSA, do 10mg for a few rounds. If that is took much then cut that in half. There is no right amount of DMSA to take and everyone is different. If you are taking DMSA and feel like you need to die or go to the ER, then you are taking too much. Your body is being overloaded with mercury too fast and can't excrete it fast enough. Just make sure you are drinking water to flush out the mercury. If you aren't urinating, then you aren't excreting the mercury.
When conspiracies unwind, will you slam shut or free your mind or stay hypnotized.

Benza you really dont want to mess with benzos... That will end up being a bigger problem. Trust me, I know hell on earth and it's benzo withdrawal. I dont know how long you were on for, but withdrawal can last many months and for some years. You shouldnt be messing with any pills for that matter, and codeine withdrawal is a walk in the park in comparison.

not waking up to take it.. sounds better, that would be impossible for me.
thanks for the warning. i knew the risks from withdrawal from similar tablets many years ago.. and had no choice.
this feeling:
"feel like you need to die or go to the ER"
was 24 hours a day and still is so regardless of being in the middle of chelation or not so i have to manage that as well as somehow get it out.
i stop chelation when i cannot eat or drink.
a bottle of wine, 4 codeine, 2-3 valium, a day <<<< all together or when i needed it (i honestly needed morpheine but I could not communicate with spoken words to my doctor, i was too confused. a pack of cigarettes every 2 days.. none of that didn't even come close to giving me relief from the pain from mercury for the first 12 months.. never needed anything to get relief like that before.
after 6 months i made a friend for 10 days at some place, we met and their memory of me was that i was 'swaying' trying to stand up
yeah quitting codeine was easy compared to the valium. i can only just walk and talk at the moment. i stopped fitting and staying up all night a while back i don't know how long ago. so thats good right? i cannot control my breathing very well, its hard to breathe from lack of control of my body.

ugh what a horrible post of mine to have read back to myself that last one.
before i get 'andy cutler' the book, want to test some things first.
whats the range of doses that were bareable for people who were really sick? 12.5mg every 3 hours constant is the best way i can split the 100mg
and for how many days. 3 days on 3 days off would really confuse me for example. taking it constant on alarm is bout the best i could do, i think.
im really interested in how bex managed continuing the protocol to say at the end something like "i did 10 rounds with this much dosage and at correct dose" . being as ill as i read a long time ago, what supports and reminders, and the hows of each detail did you get it done. what main difficulties to following through with it did you find and how did you overcome it? like for instance was missing a dose a challenge? or waking up to take it? and how did you set an alarm to wake up? what if it interrupted a whole nights sleep very badly and constant etc?
it might look simple to some but it seems really hard to me.

Hi Benza, well I've not really been on any withdrawal nightmare like you have been through, but I relate to those symptoms more than I can express.
I can't tell you how many times I've done nothing with my life, but sit in a chair, lie down, play video games or anything that I don't have to do much about or with. It's hard to explain unless you go into that mode of being so ill, you actually cease to really think properly and all motivation seems to be gone - non existent.
Life was sh*t and still is pretty much, though it's controlled more by a strict diet. But the only high point as I said, was when I was getting well from many years of detox suffering after amalgam removal. Until the other garbage hit and down I went. I often wanted to sleep and never wake up. Suicidal? Yes that too.
At any rate, I'll just mention my chelation routine and what I did at the time I was detoxing mercury. At that time, I was tired and couldn't concentrate and didn't want to split pills (I admit this). I had 50 mg of DMSA on hand and that's exactly what I took. I didn't care. I had a battery worked alarm clock and just set it for e.g. 12 midday (to start). Then when the alarm went off, I took a dose of DMSA with water and reset the alarm ahead for another 4 hours (4 pm) and kept doing this throughout the night for about 5 days or up to a week.
At that time, there was no adjustments to Cutler's protocol and I considered I had to do it this way and didn't consider lessening the dose or the time period. Now I realise I could have done 3 days, not an entire week. I put myself through a lot, but at least the symptoms were not entirely insane, like they were with other protocols.
In hindsight, the dose was indeed too high and the time taking it was too long. I tried 25 mg a few years later after being repoisoned and this seemed to work great for me. Though some need to go lower than that. 25 mg worked pretty well. Detox symptoms are ok, nothing to be afraid of. So long as they are not over the point of tolerance.
For reducing a 50 mg dose to a 25 mg - I used to get a piece of paper. I'd pull apart the capsule and let the powder onto the paper. I'd then split the powder into halves. I'd take one half then and there as my dose and tip the other half back into the capsule for one of my night doses.
Later in the day, when I'd need my next dose, I'd do the same and keep the other half for the nightly dose. It worked out ok.
I did indeed miss doses sometimes. I'd be late taking one and either I"d risk it, or I'd have to stop the round, wait a few days and start again. It's not usually worth the risk if the time has been over an hour late...that's where you risk redistribution. Though i did it on occassion, I really paid for it twice. Big time.
I did not enjoy waking to take a dose, but I kept a large glass of water, a battery alarm clock and the DMSA by my bed and went through with it. Yes it interrupted my sleep, but I needed to do this to avoid the redistribution effects of isolated dosing. Every 4 hours really is necessary. But it's 3 days and if you can take 3 days out of life every now and again? You may start to see things improve.
I am going to start ALA at some point again soon. So that'll be interesting. The lowest I can get is 50 mg. Should be ok, since it's been years since amalgam removal and I've done chelation before with no real issues. So it'll be every 3 hours for this one. Since ALA apparently needs to be taken a little more often than DMSA (though one can extend it to every 4 hours during the night if it helps with sleep. But that is not worth it if the symptoms become too severe).

okay, thanks so much for writing that for maybe the millionth time to someone? I may be missing the point of this protocol. See if you can make sense of what i've done so far. Yesterday i took (hard to type) starting at 1 pm 4 doses 3 hours apart ending at about 2 am this morning cuz i couldn't sleep, but my mind was flashing images and i was going over and over how this taking of dmsa must be bad, stuck in a mind loop. today i woke up after not taking it from sleep at 1:30 pm.. and i feel really really aweful, its hard to seperate not taking and taking, but i'd say i got more leg pain. the type of pain that is pain for pain's sake.. nothing wrong where i feel the pain, in my hands as well (its hard to tell with so many symptoms .. is the pain worse.. or am i clearer headed noticing more pain.. no way to be sure) so this is like an experiment, if you believe that its important to start and take it continuous i will do that for 3 days at a time.. as best as i can remember that is what you wrote my memory isn't good. Your mind seems to be clear compared to mine? well done on at least that. i reckon your work was worth it. video games? thats bout all there is to do isn't it? every 4 hours constant right through the night as well.. i'm gonna do that starting now. cuz there is no "better for me" i don't have a reference for "taking a round" and "during or after feeling worse", or any sense of "tolerable", everything is intolerable, anyway im confused as all.. trying best to understand what u mean and do this thing
