Hi Katson, Yeah, sadly it is often pointless to see a doctor with things like this. They can sometimes medicate, but that is usually dealing with symptoms, not the problem. I am much more impressed by doctors who take a natural approach and look for what is really going on. They look at diet, supplements etc as well. Natural therapies. I'm not ignoring the need sometimes for medical intervention, but you know what I mean. I would try the DMSA next round and on its own to see what your response is. Unfortunately DMSA is expensive, so that is the downside to it. However, if you can manage to get some? I'd give it a go. It may help settle things a bit more for you and you may notice symptoms even on that alone. Though probably not as much as ALA. It differs for everybody what they handle. Then if you want to try ALA again, I'd do it with DMSA, but that's just my opinion (unqualified as it is). I hope that your symptoms start to lessen. This must be horrible. Yes, I can see why you would wish to be married. I feel that way too sometimes, other times I realise how much of a burden I am and then I think twice I"m lucky I have a family member who lives with me, but he's not young and that won't go on forever. So life does scare me a bit.
