I see what you're saying Jinx and that is right. I agree with you to some extent. Good V evil has always been.
But, I am not speaking so much about obvious evil and wars, (which I feel in the end, is a climax build up from hatred and sin and the powers that be, with the poor ordinary people getting murdered for it) and let's face it, to some extent has always been. But not quite on the world wide scale as the last few wars have been.
Localised? Yep, always been there. But I suspect something coming that will make them look pretty small in comparison. I hope I'm wrong.
I am speaking more about serious sins being accepted as "normal and ok". The candy coated kind

That in fact, frightens me alot. The acceptance of the very things that seriously offend God and sometimes eruption from such evil is only an outcome of a condition that has been festering for a long time.
Now, if a person doesn't believe in God? Then of course, this kind of stuff doesn't mean much if anything. But when it becomes something that is accepted and embraced even by so-called believers? That's where I think things are spiralling down. I think one is literally mocking/baiting God and I've never seen such mockery in all my life. Seriously, I"ve been on this earth for 36 years now and these recent times have been in that respect, a complete and utter horror. I have never seen such degradation on television and in the media in my life. Am I'm no prissy prude, but it's even surprised me. The kids viewing this and being corrupted, unless their parents are there to monitor EVERYTHING and take charge of the TV. Sad, shouldn't have to be that way, but it is. Even daytime/early evening TV.
Oh yeah don't get me wrong, there are some things that have indeed improved and we have better technology and understanding of medical conditions etc etc. But to me, this is "surface" improvements. The underlying sinfulness of society has become a disgrace in my opinion. I know that's going to annoy people, but I speak from a standpoint of a belief in God, not atheism.
One cannot shove religion down somebody's throat, but to remain quiet and shut up continually in a society that celebrates/encourages sin on a daily basis? I think somebody, sometime needs to speak out. It's a secular world for the most part, and no we'll never be able to control or stop what people do, but it's wise to be alerted to the increase in sin and the increase of the acceptance of it and not remain blinded to what is going on all around us and take some stands. Even if it means a bit of humiliation and being thought of as "uncool or old fashioned". As far as I know, morality is not something that becomes outdated and God certainly doesn't. It applies as much to day, as it ever did.
Also, we have been exposed to it for so long, it is no wonder so many of us become numb and even blinded to it. Unable to really see it for what it is anymore.
