Okay, I have been making some progress today. I spent 3 hours in the supermarket looking at the contents of everything I was interested in buying
I found some shelled hemp seeds, which I am going to try.
Found an organic muesli cereal that is only 17carbs per serving, compared to others that are 40-50+ and got some high protein nuts to add to it which should increased the protein content.
Linda McCartney's sausages are 8g protein to 3carbs and are vegan, so are ideal with veggies Her pies are also vegan and not high carb (about 30carbs). Quorn stuff have eggs in them and they don't specify whether they are free-range or not, so I avoided their products. I think they also had milk in them, but am not sure.
Broccoli has higher protein than carb content and pretty versatile, and is nice with lentils (which aren't exactly low carb but are high protein).
I got some organic eggs, which I am not really happy about eating, but I'm going slowly with the diet change.
