Actually, my response to you doesn't qualify as a Straw-Man Argument. I responded directly to your statement dealing with the Bible and straying from logic and reason. I even used the same words.

Anything someone believes is a belief. The Bible is based in logic and reason. Anyone who has studied it and is being honest knows that. That's why I simply said that you obviously haven't studied it.

Just because some people have used it in the past (I'm not talking about anyone on this forum) to draw conclusions that are not logical does not mean the Bible is not logical. People draw illogical conclusions from all sorts of good data.

I would also suggest that taking a close look at what the Bible really says would be very beneficial for you. The prophecies about this time are coming true—it's really happening just as it was predicted—and this provides very real, very tangible evidence of it's authenticity. This is really important stuff that everyone needs to know about. Check it out.
