It's not your differing viewpoints I object to, Tom, it's your insulting manner. Hopefully no one's views are static as it would be an arrogant person who claimed to be in sole possession of "the truth".

I don't know what your problem is with me. I've already stated that I respect your decision to eat meat and even that my religion allows people to eat meat. Maybe even God wants me to eat meat (if it is necessary for recovery) but you have to understand that the thought of eating meat makes me ill. It is my right to not eat meat, as it is yours, and my right to believe and support alternatives to meat-eating in society when possible i.e. not to those people whose survival absolutely depends on it.

If you want an argument then you've chosen the wrong person because I am not well enough to argue, either mentally or physically. It doesn't matter to me what you believe about meat-eating or even if you are a butcher. I will support your right to freedom of speech. Please respect others also and that not everyone wants to engage in debate and argument about what they believe. I am not trying to force veganism on anyone.

Demi,

Please don't take things so personally. It's just that if you don't want to discuss the issue, then please don't respond at all. It's just information -- how you react is up to you.

I don't control your feelings, you do.

Speaking of which, I hope you feel better, whatever path you take.

Take care,

Tom
