I agree with gdawson. In fact, I wonder if perhaps it is too soon for ALA for you. If your body/blood mercury isn't lowered before taking ALA it can actually pull mercury back into the brain. I don't want to scare you, but maybe a few rounds of DMSA before ALA would help.
