It's very nice to have you 'aboard'. I really like your choice of the verse 28, in Galatians Chapter 3.

Sean, what the Apostle Paul was speaking of here in Galatians Chapter 3, Is that the Galatians were returning to legalism by the Law, which Moses gave in the Old Testament.

Paul is pointing out in verse 7 , "Know ye there that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham." (spiritually speaking) The key word here, Sean, is FAITH.

It goes on to explain to us in verses 11, "But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for The just shall live by FAITH. Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree (Jesus did this in His crucification); That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles(non-Jews), through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through FAITH.(vv.13-14)

The next several verses speak of 'The Purpose of the Law'. No one can keep the law...it is insufficient. (v.22) But the scripture hath concluded all are under sin that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe.

Sean, we needed the Law, (v.21).."for if there had been a law given which could have given life, ...righteousness should have been by the law. (v.22)But the scripture hath conclued all under sin that the promise by FAITH of Jesus Christ might be give to the them that believe. (v.23) ..before FAITH came we were kept under the law, shut up unto the FAITH which should afterwords be revealed...(24) it (the Law) was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by FAITH. (v.25) But after that FAITH is has come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster.

(v.26)" For you are all the children of God by FAITH in Christ Jesus."

YOUR VERSE= verse 28) There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. ...And if ye be Christ's then are you Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.

Sean, this is ALL SPIRITUAL. You will never be able to understand this in the natural. Ask the Holy Spirit (the third person of the trinity) to reveal your Bible reading to you, as you begin. You will be amazed at the NEW EYES you have, as the Gospel is unfolded before you.

Don't ever be scared of studying the Bible. We also read in 2 Timothy Chapter 1 verse 7 "For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power and of love and of a sound mind."

Sean, you will also read in Holy Scripture that many will come to you in sheep clothing, but they are ravenous wolves. There are many FALSE TEACHERS out there. May I ask that you read the post I made earlier: "LATTER DAY SAINTS? Mormonism?"

I will be praying for you. I commend you on sharing your feelings, and prayerfully the Lord Jesus will 'open your spiritual eyes', to what the Spirit of God says to His church (people).
