After some consideration, it seem to me this topic is ponderworthy for any who doubt that there is any conspiracy at all involved in evolutionism.
Not every evolutionist is a participant, of course. This is a philosophy/religion which has fanatical supporters, however, and it cannot be denied. Such have pulled many stunts over the years, and even some of the less fanatic sympathizers will, as history clearly demonstrates, will support the publication of lies. After all, what harm could come from a lie that leads people to "the truth of evolution"?
It is noteworthy that at least one evolutionist who participated in this thread, and became aware of the origin of the story, continued to use "flat earth" in remarks attempting to discredit creationism. The propaganda value of the lie, for this individual, seems to have outweighed any concern about integrity.
Folks really should consider the implications. Just how reluctant have people proven to be about participating in this informal conspiracy? It doesn't take a full-time commitment; just continue to spread the lie. You can (almost) always pretend you didn't know any better. What a marvelously convenient way to undermine those hateful people who go about teaching that God loves sinners!
And this is all it takes to participate in a conspiracy. No secret monthly meetings; no membership dues; no Goldfinger secret hideout or headquarters.
Dark Matter + Dark Energy = Dark Truth"We find that such evidence demonstrates that the ID argument is dependent upon setting a scientifically unreasonable burden of proof for the theory of evolution." - Judge Jones Kitzmiller case http://www.talkreason.org/articles/Falsify.cfm"To Compel A Man To Furnish Funds For The Propagation Of Ideas He Disbelieves And Abhors Is Sinful And Tyrannical." - Thomas Jefferson "And can the liberties of a nation be thought secure when we have removed their only firm basis, a conviction in the minds of the people that these liberties are the gift of God? That they are not to be violated but with his wrath?" - Thomas Jefferson
