But why....... why was i getting better over the years before these drillouts, from eating lots of raw garlic now and then, and from using garlic also in food, all foods... i used garlic like a maniac, both coocked and fresh / raw..
And i was getting better....
I don't trust mr. cutler completely... and besides i got better with garlic before... so why wouldn't i now?! Even Andy Cutler admits some people do REALLY well on high sulfur foods. Some tend not to and find it just exacerbates their symptoms to the point of making things much worse and sometimes long term. I've had both and not sure why. When I still had amalgams, I took garlic supplements and they worked well. However, after last amalgam removal? I don't know what happened, but I was suddenly wide open for reactions from sulfur foods (any, even cabbage, eggs, onions etc). The mercury got mobilised readily and the reactions were sometimes intolerable. I'd say this might have been because my body was ready to start detoxing it anyway and anything added just exacerbated it. However, it indicated to me (at that time when I did not know much about chelators), that this was at least, doing "something". So I tended to take breaks and repeat. I found the the sulfur foods were less painful in reaction than the supplements. Garlic supplements caused VERY strong reactions, so I was careful with that one. I think Andy is excellent in what he does, but there are other avenues people try and do well in. I take the warnings he gives because I think it's worth listening to and taking some heed and trying things at first, slowly in small doses testing for reactions. Because he's seen firsthand some pretty rotten things happen to people who come crying to him for help and he's had to try and undo what's been done. He's had years of it, so I take some notice of it. Funnily enough Ole, I have tried garlic recently and I am quite certain there was some metal eruption. Yet chelating agents this time have done nothing.....so there's food for thought (excuse the pun ;)). Apparently, according to a dentist here who suggests garlic to help detox his mercury patients, that the garlic changes the form of the mercury into salts that can be excreted....what do you guys make of that? For me, the food was much better than the supplement form. I got hurt very badly from garlic supplements twice in a row, which I believe it shunted toxins into my gut area and I was in agony for many months. I had to use DMSA Andy style to slowly but surely try and chelate it back out. It thankfully worked. I actually saw the rash on my abdomen as the metals there would be acting up. As the chelator was pulling them gradually out, the rashes got lower and lower down. yet garlic in the form of food has never done this to me. So I wonder, for some, if extracted garlic being turned into a supplement can have some drawbacks. Perhaps the overall garlic in its full state may have had other areas that were quite essential and acted as a kind of protective element to other parts that people don't consider? When you start messing around with nature and taking this out and leaving this in etc, the overall nature of it has been altered. Now it was made to be consumed in natural form for no doubt, good reason. So I am a testament as to what can happen when one consumes garlic in supplement form. Yet I used to be fine on it, but that is because I did not have the virus back then or these gut problems. So now, I am kind of a canary you could say. I'm much more sensitive and can readily detect a problem because I"m so much more suseptible. So yeah Ole, I think it does do something and if you find you can tolerate it, then I'd go for it. Since sulfur is very healthy and some people with mercury require it. Andy does admit this. And yes it does have detox ability with metals, I've felt it myself. But I just steer clear of the supplement form of it now. I go for the food. I don't like it in raw form though (not for me), but I throw it into my stir fries in crushed form instead. It maybe helping you and why stop something that works?
