Being a person that has been both underweight and overweight at different times of my life, I now understand how it feels for either side. I am actually a very average person in weight and frame and height.

But due to toxicity and diet/appetite, even an average frame can carry an unstable weight status. Though I was never overweight most of my life, I became so later on via cravings for foods that didn't stop and excessive eating (of the wrong foods) and bloated through sheer toxicity in the tissues.

I can say that the only time I've been able to stabilise my weight more is the diet I am on now. I am neither too big, nor too small. I thank the proteins and fats for that, because my diet is so restrictive, that I would be underweight if it were not for the extra.

I have been overweight and underweight at different times when suffering bad candida and toxicity. It can rob you of an appetite and cause you to become toxic and skinny, OR can create an excessive appetite and cravings causing overweight, and bloat. Either way, both of those weight issues can be improved or even resolved with a healthy nutritious diet (for me anyway). Anything that reduces toxicity and improves health, should eventually (logically) start balancing out weight and a person's appetite should also become more normalised, rather than either no appetite or absolutely excessive.

When first starting a candida diet, the cravings can increase and a person can feel very hungry for a temporary period of time. The person may even lose MORE weight or GAIN more temporarily as the body starts dealing with the toxins. It is trying but worth it.

WEight is actually the LEAST of a person's issues (unless they are morbidly and dangerous obese or anorexic). Because I found that if I concentrated souly on health and getting nutrient intake and absorption by excluding the bad and taking onboard the good, things do seem to stabilise eventually. It can take time though.

I wouldn't take any notice birdlady of people's comments like that. I've gone from being called "Porky" to "You look like a pull-through for a slug gun". Seriously, you can't win sometimes. Just focus on your health, on healing and getting these toxins out of you. Good for you that you're concentrating on the diet more! And yeah, alcohol is bad for me too. I react badly to it and get drunk pretty easily too. Though that is probably because I react badly to it and hence don't drink So if I do have an occassion when I drink, I'm blotto pretty quick.
