I used to have friday night as my cheat night and smoke night. I kind of got away with it, so long as it was one night a week. But sometimes the recovery wasn't fun!



I observe doctrine and try to apply it to my life, as I believe it's the inspired word of God.

Like yourself, I don't believe having a drink to be a sin, (I'm certain Jesus drank occassionally also - not in excess). As you said, it's the use/abuse of it.

Funnily enough, when my mother (who has a mouth packed full of amalgam) has a drink, she can barely cope! She got worse when gold was added. I wonder how much mercury sensitises a person and causes them to become quite intolerant to many things.

It's a bugger isn't it? Like yourself, I too would like to enjoy a little of that occassionally. Including sweet foods, cakes, chocolate etc.

PS, yep I've tried garlic (raw or cooked). It's "ok", but not all that helpful. I have noticed what I thought seemed to be a bit of metal mobilisation after taking it though.....not certain yet, may try it again later and see if the same thing occurs. That plus exercise!

You should find as you become further detoxed in mercury, that these annoying problems that prevent you from enjoying the odd smoke/drink may lessen or even disappear....it depends on how poisoned you are, how detoxed you get and whether there is any long term repurcussions from the years of mercury. Some may not be able to fully indulge again. I found even when detoxed, I still had to be "somewhat" careful, but nothing compared to what I had been and I was still healing at that time anyway.

Until the infection/s. That's where the immune system when right down hill, worse even than with amalgam. Which is why the diet side of things has had to be far more restricted. It works relatively well and at this time, that's good enough for me. I'm looking at getting possible cavitations cleaned out in case that's a contributing factor, but financially cannot afford that right now and have just had extensive dental work with getting composites replaced with cerec porcelain. I did this for my long term future. Hopefully having these materials means they'll last much longer and I won't have to go back to a dentist and breath in their mercury vapors in their office and get myself sick again and again. I'm tired of it.

I went in for a clean not long ago and got worse in health again. They all drill amalgam almost daily I guess. So hate to think how much vapor is present and hanging around their office. Being so sensitive, I don't tend to cope or excete it readily.

So since I've had the dental work, I've been a bit worse and not rushing to go into having any further dental work done at all at this time. I think further local anaesthetic might really push things over the edge at the moment, plus paying off the bill
