There is absolutely no reason to give little kids a flu shot. Right now they're already expected to get so many shots their little immune systems are overwhelmed. That makes me mad. I'm done having little ones, but my oldest now married daughter will be dealing with that and I'm glad I've taught her about those things. I got their shots when they were little out of ignorance, but even 20 years ago the requirements weren't as much as now. I home schooled them, though, partly cause I didn't feel good about further vaccinating them and, still, haven't done the Hep B ones and not going to do the cerix protection one. (Spacing on one its called presently). My married daughter was a virgin when she married (and married a virgin) and my youngest still is, so they are not at risk, but I wouldn't trust them anyway. If kids are vaccinated, I think mothers should pace them and space them way further out than protocol. There are also herbal and nutritional things you can do to offset the inundation.

I do have a cousin with Polio. I believe at one time and to some degree vaccinations have served and serve their purposes. But it is completely profit (or worse) driven now. My SIL is planning on becoming a Dr. (pediatrician) and we're going to have to have a talk..... Right now she says she is at least going to space them out more.
