Yes it is!!!!! I agree with all you said. I will try to add more and more to my diet each day to become a better person, but I truly believe a relationship with GOD is KEY as well and I need to develop one soon. Let me tell you a little story of high school. I felt the best I have in years because of a realtionship with God and eating better foods, my noises that bother me all the time (My key there) were taken away and I was focusing alot better, my writing improved alot and I got better grades from all of that combined, spiritually and better foods (I still drank on weekeneds but that did not bother me as much). I felt like a new man, very calm and the vices I have with OCD and I was under control of my life and was on a different level for a few years! I had fillings but they did not even bother me, maybe the poisoning did not settle in yet? Anyways for the first time I was pretty much normal as so to speak and happy as hell, the seretonin in my brain was flowing and I was on a that level of control which I need in life. Now I am out of control on foods and so on, maybe I am finding myself again slowly? I believe that is KEY, control, balance and options! I ate bananas, ate good cereals, took ACVingar and some garlic and so on, no supplements at all and I was running on all cylinders! I need to find that again, I pray I do.
Hi Sean, I hope I don't come across as pushy.... seriously nobody can change your diet or force you to do anything. Nobody could with me. I made the decision through sheer desperation and only persisted because I was terrified of staying that way. Suicidal urges and severe depression will eventually drive a person to do something pretty drastic. I was so poisoned.
I had amalgams at that time. However, because my body was more in "storage" mode, I guess there was less activity going on and the diet, after a few weeks, gave me dramatic improvements in health. I felt much closer to God during that time...how interesting that increased clarity and less toxicity could also impact the sense of the spirit! I can't explain it, but wow. I feel that toxicity numbs the senses and blurs a person's perception greatly. Creating a kind of void, a feeling of "deadness". YET, in times of great suffering, some interesting things can also happen...I've had a few things occur, though personal.
When you get amalgams out, the body apparently begins asserting itself and you can worsen with symptoms. Symptoms are a sign things are happening and the stuff is moving, but it's most unpleasant and at times horrific. With amalgams, it's bad, but more suppressed sickness and diet can control many of the symptoms. With the now asserted body that no longer has amalgams? You can really suffer badly, because all that poison that was storing up for years? The body is now trying to get rid of. In fact, I was distressed because I felt i had made the wrong move to remove amalgams, but one of the best doctors in my country (who has worked with mercury toxicity for most of his career) said it's not abnormal and means things are now starting to work at ridding years of poison.
I remember though when I first went on a candida diet, the symptoms were so bad Sean, that I was walking around crying. That's how poisoned I was and how much my body was now trying to eliminate. I had headaches and looked and felt like garbage. I was desperate for the sugars that had been making me so ill, including the wheat/gluten products, but I stuck at it as the poisons were now loosening and coming out of me. 2-3 weeks later? I emerged like a new person. And yep, I was eating bananas and all of that also and did well. I was Still amalgam poisoned, because I hadn't yet had the amalgams removed (like you) but the change was for me, life saving. That's where I found a strange clarity, warmth in my body (feet and hands), happiness, improvement in appearance and weight, hair/eyes/skin glowed and looked younger and YEP, my spirit too (with God). Not that FEELING good indicates being more pleasing to God (WRONG). I am well aware of the wretched suffering of many who like Christ, have a heavy cross and their value may not be realised by them in this life.
But yeah, along with ridding my diet of the toxic garbage, replacing it with healthy foods (raw if possible), I felt like I had walked out into the sunshine. I highly recommend it. NOt that I experience this now because I am weighed down by something very different and worse. But the diet STILL does "something" at the very least. I used to get away with the high carbohydrate foods and this is what I used to eat:
Fruits (bananas, apples, grapes, anything)
vegetables - potatoes, and every other vegetable (mostly raw if I could in salads etc) which REALLY increased the detox.
non wheat/gluten grain/cereal/bread (without yeast)
meat, yoghurt (unsweetened acidophilus)
potatoe chips (yep, I could get away with those then).
nuts of any kind and seeds of any kind
Carob (sugar free though)
milk in my tea and cerals, though I didn't over indulge in it by the glassful.
some honey in my tea or on my gluten free toast
non gluten/non wheat muesli bars from healthfood shops
Rice cakes (rice wafers, gluten free)
etc
Now does that sound restricted?

That's pretty good! I wish I could get away with even that now. Though I got sick from cheating with sugar,wheat/gluten yeast, I just got back on this pretty loose candida diet (if you can really call it that) and felt ok again. Though at first, a person may need to restrict the fruits/honey and high carbs for awhile, depending again on how bad they are and how much restriction they need.
Your past improvements on a good diet indicates (unless you've contracted anything else since), that you have the potentital for health. But it's also not abnormal to worsen following amalgam removal too, which usually increases symptoms, so chelation maybe really necessary, with diet. As even the diet may not be able to hold many of the symptoms at bay if your body is actively trying to dump mercury. But it will aid and help your gut and liver do it more efficiently...that's what I've experienced anyway.
You can do it
