Hi Sean,

Yeah, you definitely do have to keep it up because it will always return unless the underlying problem has been fixed.

Yeast is not really the enemy in and of itself, but it becomes the enemy from a failure of the immune system to keep it in check and that's when it can do damage.

It's just a sad side effect of a over challenged/suppressed? immunity. I never had such yeast problems until mercury and then later from virus/bacterial infection. It was always something there in the first place that was the problem. One forum I belong to with a lady who is really up on the yeast problem and has been dealing with sufferers for many years, says the only way to cure yeast is building immunity. And part of that is consuming healthy natural foods without sugars and too many high carbohydrates. She recommends proteins and animal fats also as health building. She's very much a Dr Weston Price fan. I'd recommend reading his stuff too. Excellent health/diet advice. http://www.westonaprice.org/splash_2.htm Check out the topics on the left side of the site.

Diet is the foundation of everything else. If that isn't corrected and healthy natural foods are not consumed, then it's doubtful a person will make much progress. Hal Huggins and even said that diet can destroy more recoveries than anything else, OR overdoing things too quickly after feeling better. He knows how important it is that a person change their food habits.

I guess us humans are creatures of habit and pleasure, but to me, what pleasure is there is feeling like total garbage? I'd rather suffer the denial of certain foods, than put up with worse health than I already do.
