Thats a really interesting point about supplements and healing reactions. Its been going around in my head for a few hours now and I'm still wondering how I'm going to work with it.

The field of detox is very new, and there is no one authority out there who knows everything we need to know. And there are "experts" who contradict other "experts".

So it seems to me that the only way you can safely detox yourself is to listen to the feedback your body gives you.

So how do you know whether something is a healing reaction and you should just stick it out OR whether by doing so, you're over-riding your body's innate knowledge and doing yourself more harm than good.

I take your point that if something is good for you, you could considering sticking it out....

And I can also accept the idea that if your body is toxic as a result of exposure to un-natural metals or chemicals, then your body might react in a negative way.

But although that might be interpreted as a good thing (in the sense that its a healing reaction), maybe that healing reaction is more severe than that toxic body can handle at that moment in time.

I dont know... I can certainly see your point but ...

Can you tell that I'm really undecided here ??? smile
