He has seen damage from wrong use of ALA - irreversible damage. THe only method he feels is safe, is the every 3 hour routine because he's worked closely with mercury toxic patients and studied this for many years and understands the way mercury works. If a person goes outside of this protocol and does it their own way or some other way? Then that is their business. But they need to know the risks involved and that some of those risks may wind up cause irreversible worsening....(so I've heard).

There are people who have actually BLAMED andy, when they have deviated from his protocol and wound up worse. Seriously, it's happened more than once to him. He's had to deal with some very very difficult individuals. NO surprise, poisoned people can be so hard to help and hard to heal. Irrational, unable to take in detail properly, memory issues, anger problems, persecution complexes, feelings of doom, procrastination and sometimes so sick, some take to bed and can barely even manage to help themselves.

It's a terrible toxin and hard to remove. But the way it works on a person's mind and personality is also at times, devastating. He's really had them all! And I have seen it on a forum he was on when a person tried to blame him when things went wrong, yet wasn't even following the protocol. They either screwed up the timing. Or they were doing their own timing. Or they started using ALA too early (when it's not meant to be used until 3 months or more post amalgam removal or any other mercury exposure).

Not sure if it's a case of them not being able to follow instructions, or refusing to and then when backfire happens, they are angry so they have to blame someone. I think it's rewarding what he's doing, but not easy. He even said that there are some patients so poisoned, he cannot even get through to them or help them.

Most I've met have been amazingly sane with this stuff, even if they FEEL insane or have insane thoughts. Sadly some have wound up in mental institutions, but honestly this stuff can cause pscyho symptoms and these people may not even know what the problem is, or the people around them don't know or don't know how to help them or won't. To think how many times I could have gone there! Many many close calls.
