A time dissequenced movie about the events surrounding adultery and personal loos in a small Pennsylvania town.
The acting is good, the language often is not, and the focus on the dark side of real life reminds me of American Beauty (by the same producer). The relationships portrayed will certainly touch many open wounds and leave you craving chocolate.
Although I consider Sam Rockwell a great actor, I am always disappointed with movies that falsely portray the Bible and demonize Christians, and this movie does it with a darkness and directivity that rivals even a Stephen King novel.
Amazing how a book about love, forgiveness, and restoration can be used by anti-Christian Hollywood to create murderer, strife, and division. Sad to see such talented actors electing to play roles in blatantly anti-Christian movies.
