Hi cmlyon, I think that it depends on the person. Some respond to chlorella very well, others do not. It also depends on the elimination organs and whether a person is making sure the toxins that have been mobilised can be handled by the gut and liver and eliminated. If not, redistribution occurs easily. Even then, it can still happen with certain products and with chelation taken randomly.
I know that when I treated my gut by the candida diet, my liver automatically improved from less toxic load. I could then handle chelation with far less symptoms. However, chlorella for me only seeked to mobilise, rather than chelate as much, or I didn't notice it did much at all.....
It depends how accessible the mercury is too, as I'm not sure whether too tightly bound mercury will respond much with chlorella. I feel mercury more tightly bound needs a stronger chelator. The stuff that floats around? Chlorella can mobilise easily, but also bind to it....so it's a combination I think and it again depends on the person.
For me, when I had alot of mercury all over the place, chlorella was a mixed bag of surprises and often nasty ones. Sometimes I felt the difference after using it though, i felt it had indeed stirred up metals nad my body had eliminated some of them, but often through too many intolerable symptoms.
I think it's probably good to just use it in the mouth and on the teeth perhaps....as you said.
