God is there, patiently waiting for us. He assures us, "I did not say....,'Seek Me in vain'" (Isa 45:19). Why, then, do we often have trouble finding Him? Probably because we are looking in all the wrong places.

*Isa.45:21 "Declare what is to be, present it--let them take counsel together. Who foretold this long ago, Who declared it from the distant past? Was it not I, the LORD? And there is no God apart from Me, a righteous GOD and a SAVIOR; there is none but Me."

*(v.22) Turn to Me and be saved, all you ends of the earth; for I am God, and there is no other.

*(v.23) By myself I have sworn, my mouth has uttered in all integrity a word that will not be revoked:
Before Me every knee will bow; by Me every tongue will swear. [see Romans 14:11]

*(v.24a) They will say of Me, "In the LORD alone are righteouness and strength.' "

You'll find Him right where He is supposed to be--in His Word, in prayer, and in the voice of the Holy Spirit who lives within you. The God [JESUS], who says "seek, and you will find" (Matt. 7:7) also promises that "He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him" (Heb. 11:6). So, you can rejoice that God is right where He is supposed to be, and He's waiting for you right now. --

I am posting this note to inform you that I have 'challenged' your belief, Latter Day Saints/Mormons.

I made a post on 1/08/09 @ 2:30 PM. under "LDS/Mormonism?"

I wouldn't want you to miss an opportunity to defend your faith. I have on 'the whole armour of God, my loins are girted about with truth and I have on the breastplate of righteousness; My feet are shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; I hold the shield of faith, in order to quench the firey darts of the doctrine in the Mormon Church. I have the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God.'

By the grace of God, I shall keep this matter in prayer and supplication, in the Spirit in order that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ, God in flesh.

Shall we 'debate' a little on the teaching of the LDS/Mormon Church VS. a Christian, of a Bible believing church?

I wonder, Jeanie, are there NOT any other Mormon believers on this forum? Perhaps they will join in as well.

I certainly do NOT mean to sound arrogant, or haughty.....I want to be an ambassador of the Blessed Lord and Savior, Jesus the Christ. You once stated that you 'are open' to others beliefs. So...........shall we?

Let us also invite others to join in, if they would care to. Lynn, Bex, Russ, Laura, as the Lord leads.....

Perhaps we all will learn something, 'Lord willing.
