Thank you Jeanie for kindly standing up for me, even though you are not a Catholic.
Honestly Jeanie, nobody I know, nor myself has EVER been witness to an inverted cross like this in relation to Catholicism (except occultism which I have seen before). My father is 76 years of age and been a Catholic most of his life. Absolutely devoted to Christ and any mention or any appearance of any inverted cross around Catholicism of the Pope would have also been picked up very quickly. He's fully aware of such an occult symbol and deliberate demonic misrepresentation and insult to Christ on the cross by doing it "upside down". Satan adores to twist and do things backwards. This is NOT a representation at all of my faith, but a sick MISrepresentation.
I almost feel tempted to send this to people on my email list who are in the same church and ask them if they have seen anything like it. Some have been witnesses to Pope John Paul II in person and would have also picked up on this very quickly. It stands out.
After this, I am not quite so trusting anymore

. But it's been a good reality check for me and a wake up call not to believe everything that is presented here. There are plenty of people out there that are amazingly adept at making someone's belief look "evil" and in fact, you can do it to anybody. You can also pick bits and pieces out of revelation and join it up and proclaim that it meant this or that (again making someone's faith look 'evil').
There is a famous evangelist on television that spent much of his years of preaching to also misrepresent and demonise the Catholic church. He finally started doing some honest investigation/research himself, instead of buying into anticatholic propaganda and regurgitating it and was ashamed and finally made a public apology for doing what he did. He has not become a Catholic, but now holds up the Catholic Catechism as a WONDERFUL companion to the bible. Completely backed up by scripture. Many Catholics tune into him and his wife each week, as do others from many other faiths.
If a person wishes to get it from the horses mouth so to speak, they would do well to get a copy of
The Catholic Catechism and read it. Then, whatever criticisms they have, would be much more honest, than if they simply decide to take someone's else word for it and pass on anticatholic propaganda. I'd say, be very careful that one is not bearing false witness and deliberately demonising a person's faith. But certainly, I can do nothing to stop it, and often I've seen it on this forum and let it go. It gets tiring.
