Haven't y'all seen on the news? They've refuted that there is a connection to the MMR vaccinations and autism from some kind of intestinal problem....(Never even heard of that connection). No mention of mercury.... THey came on and "straightened us out" because there is a lessening of people going in for their scheduled vaccinations! My SIL is planning on becoming a pediatrician and my daughter already said he believes in vaccinations..... Got my work cut out for me there - at least with my grand babies!!! I like him, though. My daughter has reservations cause of what she's grown up hearing from me, thank goodness. And she has seen and felt for herself that what I've taught her is true.... And, I'm afraid, suffers from some effects herself. I didn't learn till later. But when she was little (born in 87) they didn't inundate them quite as bad as they do their little immune systems now. I watched a tape in a Driver's Ed class over and over today where we treat (sometimes) dogs and even fawn with great reverence for life... (It was so cool - this rescue guy who'd grown up on a farm perfirned a cesarean section on a newly killed doe and then gave the little fawn mouth to snout CPR which brought it to life!) Got me thinking about how we treat our own little babies.
