It seems like a localized infection, but the last time this gum bothered me was 6 months ago, before the amalgam was replaced. It seems too coincidental that after 6 months of not bothering me, it suddenly flares up when I do chelation for the first time in around two months. That side of my face is also swollen, so it isn't just the gum. The gum seems to be the center of it, and the tooth hurts quite a bit when I chew something with it. This just started two days ago, coinciding with the fever. That is when I stopped this chelation round. now that I think about it, my lower gums on both sides were bothering me a bit before I started the chelation, and they seemed to stop bothering me after I started the chelation. I have only had pain and irritation with my lower gums.
