YW=You're welcome.

For sleep problems, it is important to limit caffeine. I don't drink any coffee after noon, and drink just 2 cups in the morning. It is also important to get enough sunlight, and enough exercise. Don't go to bed unless you are tired, no matter what the clock says. Don't say I need 8 hours a day of sleep and try to force yourself to get it. When I tried to sleep more and didn't need it, I had a very hard time falling asleep the next day. A calcium, magnesium, or vitamin D deficiency may also be a cause of insomnia(some B vitamin deficiencies might also cause insomnia). I suggest that people take 2,000 units a day of vitamin D. Some doctors advise taking more than this, however many feel that 2,000 IU a day is the highest safe dosage to take on a long term basis without having blood levels monitored.
