I was inspired to do some research on Algin after I discovered that iodine has been used for heavy metal chelation. Iodine is in seaweed and Algin is seaweed, SO doesn't that make Algin a chelator of some sort? I realized this after doing an experiment - I realized that some times I wake up feeling okay and then after taking my morning supplements I get a headache and start to go downhill so I started taking each supplement individually to see what was causing it and low and behold it was the Algin. I stopped it for 2 days and no headaches! I think it may be that I was taking too much at this time and it was pulling the mercury out with it. So I looked it up and found this similar product with seaweed that they have marketed for heavy metal chelation: http://sassebabies.blogspot.com/2008/03/chelation-heavy-metal-removal-wake-up.htmlInteresting? I think I will try to reduce my ALgin and see how that goes.

Yeah it causes a headache in me as well at times and makes me very tired after I take it. Definitely a detox of some sort, probably of the intestine from floating Mercury. I don't know if it is a chelator, but it does detox for sure.
In Sanskrit, tulsi means literally "the incomparable one" and has been revered since ancient times. Tulsi, the holy basil, is said to have grown at the site of Christ’s crucifixion and is associated with St. Basil’s feast.

Detox is good!!!! It's not a chelator... I guess we all have to judge what works for us, though. You gotta drink a lot of water with it.

So iodine chelates? I get a headache from iodine and go downhill from there. I like taking iodine as it balances my hormones and give me the best dreams. I take the lugols stuff but I am back to only 2 drops.
