Yeah, mercury can cause any kind of phobia. I have had quite a bit of the strange ritualistic behaviours of mercury and other phobias that didn't make any sense at all. Logically you know it's irrational, but try telling the mercury that.

You may also find candida can cause phobias too, please look into this candida syndrome and phobias, you'd be surprised at how both of these problems can cause phobias in people. Mercury can also be the cause fo candida, both are typicall present at once in a person. Nasty situation. I would always treat both. Candida can be treated by a good strict diet by the way. It's up to you if you wish to try antifungals, but I would be careful, as your body does a fine job when you eliminate all the stuff candida feeds on and allow excess candida to reduce naturally by starvation.

It thrives on sugars (carbs too), wheat/gluten, yeast, etc. So eliminating them and buildilng immunity with good food and supplements is the main deal. Antifungals may kill too much yeast at once and overload your gut and liver with toxins. You will get enough die off from diet alone. You can use antifungal later if you wish, as you adjust to the diet, but I'd use cautiously. Also candida can contain mercury and the aggressive killing of too much yeast cells at once (antifungals usually work by spitting them open), this can cause any contained metals to be released at once into your system. It's happened to me and it's NASTY. I found antifungals for myself to either be a problem, or not overly effective. Diet gave me as good as I was going to get personally.

You might find you need to do a proper chelation compaigne also in case your mercury as not efficiently chelated out of you. I recommend Andrew Hall Cutler's chelation protocol. The book is on this very forum! "Amalgam Illness Diagnosis and Treatment". An essential buy in my opinion.
