Do any of you see a correlation with people with irritable bowel syndrome and parasites? I use to vascillate between constipation and diarrhea. But I'd had appendicitis, too, that went on for 6 months once (misdiagnosed!!!)and then took another 6 months to heal from (if not more) once it finally burst and I nearly died. I was on strong antibiotics forever, it seemed, (at least 3 rounds and then really strong IV ones when I nearly went septic). I'm not too bad that way comparatively speaking.... I've been on a very high fiber diet which makes a huge difference.
