I used to think the same. There's a Evangelical Free church next door to my house and years back when I was hanging the washing out to dry, I heard an anti-Darwin sermon coming out their windows. I was pretty surprised anyone thought those things in this day and age -- and I lived in the US for 21 years before moving here to the UK. Mind you, I always lived in northern states there.

I came to this forum because of ill health, and wanting to chelate for mercury. I was quite innocently talking in that forum when Russ and others started evangelizing about Hovind. I had a look at his "Lies in the Textbooks" vid and came to rather different conclusions than they were hoping, and worse still, I came over here and kept talking LOL. It kept me busy while I was at home, but I'll be largely absent this autumn while I'm teaching. I hope there will still be interesting things here to read. RAZD's video of the woman and the rainbow in her sprinkler is "sick," as my students say. Not to mention all the technical knowledge on offer from him, Linear, Russ2, and whoever else happens along.
