LL: Would you like to tell us what your own scientific method of investigating the prophecies is?
Jeanie: Personally I do not have the capability or understanding nor the background in ancient history enough to even understand many of the older prophecies. We have an LDS version of the King James Version of the Bible that our leaders who ARE well qualified (either by virtue of their backgrounds or their callings) which is annotated with footnotes all throughout scripture with cross references to help with how to understand these things as far as when they happened or what they are pertaining to. But for humble me - my scientific method is to PRAY...because the spirit tells you what you need to know which applies to your own life. I don't personally feel the need to prove the Bible is true. I am most interested in the scriptures which pertain to our day and to the future. And by the way, any scripture which has said anything about wars in MY books, (literally) have been QUITE specific. Note the ones I sent in that Joseph Smith (Yes a PROPHET) said about the civil war.
I imagine, Linear, that the prophecy in Ezekial you refer to came to pass a long time ago unless it is still going to happen in the future. Ezekial did speak for our day...
