Linda, the bible does not state the world ending in 2000 and never did. People are ALWAYS going to make "other" predictions and the bible speaks of "false prophets" or people who do genuinely get it wrong.

The bible is the one to test all others by and so far, biblical prophecy has not failed. 100% accuracy. Outside of the bible? People coming along and saying they've had a vision or they've had "word", well they should always be tested by God's word, dissernment etc and the prophecies tested also. Some do come to fruition, some do not.

The bible prophets have not failed yet. I wouldn't get "too" cocky about putting the bible down any chance you get based on prophets outside of the bible, because for Christians, the biblical word always comes first.
