Oh and mercuryfree, your symptoms correspond with die off. And yes, die off can begin within a few hours for some people. Some it may take a few days before they notice symptoms. Sounds like it's obviously a bit too strong for your body to handle at onetime....drink plenty of water and rest up if you're going to continue this. You may also find some homopathic/naturopath support drops helpful for kidneys/liver etc.
Typical symptoms of die off/detox can vary for each person. The ones I am familiar with are headaches (usually temples), nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea/constipation, chills, rashes, excessive thirst, frequent urination, excessive fatigue, heart racing, cramps, muscle aches, joint pain, foul taste in the mouth, swollen tongue (believe it or not), crying spells, salivation, metal taste, unusual vivid dreams, depression/anxiety, fears can increase, weight loss, irritibility/short tempered, sleepy/drowsy, yawning alot, itching, a worsening of itching in private parts, increase in discharge etc. and the symptoms can fluctuate as you heal, worsening, improving, worsening, improving. Sometimes you feel like you're just not getting better, because you keep experiencing similar symptoms, so patience is needed and will power. You appearance can look terrible. Some people when they are healing can look haggard sometimes as the toxins are loosened into your blood stream and take a while for the body to rid them properly and then begin to heal.
Symptoms can last a few weeks, even a few months. Healing is ongoing anyway. You can have deeply stored toxins/problems that haven't been addressed properly and may pop up unexpectedly, even after you've felt well. Symptoms can sometimes be a bit alarming and disheartening, but the key is hanging in there regardless of how it feels.
Rest, get enough sleep, and moderate exercise (walking for me is the best, but rebounding is really good to - mini trampoline).
