Talked to Huggins' office today, and unfortunately there is only one dentist in Calif. using his protocol. Not too far away from me,though, in Woodland Hills.Guy in Oregon was going to charge $9,000 and was nota Huggins-referral.It cost me $685 today to remove 4 upper left Amalgams,...however I need a root canal and have plenty of Amalgams remaining in my mouth, and a Silver crown that is really causing me problems, along with two caps.I find many of the foods mentioned as potential problem-causers in "All in Your Head" to be very accuratem....mainly seafoods and tomatoes.Fortunately, while I'm still suffering with pains and surging pressures in my teeth and burning in my gums, the severe chest and heart pains I had last month and in Nov. & Dec. have not been quite as bad.The symptoms deviate and vary in intensity.I have decided to have NO METAL in my mouth in replacemen fillings, even though I haven't got a serum compatible test done,...I plan on prob. going with porcelain-ceramic and avoiding aluminum without question. I don't even want gold.I would honestly rather have dentures at 33 than consider having ANY metals or amalgams ever placed in my mouth again. This has affected my life in a big way, and it hard not to get angry about it,or at my old dentist who placed them all, or at any dentist who defends the continued use of Mercury-Amalgams. Many truly think it remains bound in the silver without exception. Sure has putme through misery.
