Which amino acid acts as a major inhibitory neurotransmitter to induce relaxation and a sense of calmness? Gamma-Aminobutyric Acid (GABA)

I do try and keep that. Just picked up some black cohosh. Checked out the policosonal and it said it maintains lipids in normal ranges... Does it actually bring down things that shouldn't be up and up things that shouldn't be down and all that? Thanks for these. Hoping my hot flashes get better.

I have found that GABA is excellent to control the "Racing Mind" syndrome that often accompanies mercury toxicity.
