Hi everyone, I have been for 3 colonics in the last week and a half. I am having no problem with the colonics themselves, and they are going well. However, I have been experiencing more symptoms during this time period and I was wondering if this makes any sense as a response to the colonics. Could it be that the cleaning out of the colon is stirring things up and so I feel more symptoms? Because I am constipated I have chosen to do the colonics to try to clean out my colon and get it moving on its own. Just wondering if you have any thoughts on this.

I'm not sure if you are on some kind of colonic program or ...
I've had some colonics and I spaced them out more. But there is also a thing you can do ie have a series of colonics in a row (up to the individual).
Colonics can stir things up; also they leave you mineral deficient and probiotic deficient.
You may want to take a break on them and start taking some minerals and probiotics.

You can over-do colonics. I agree with Dulak that you should space them out and make sure you are building your body's reserves back up with minerals and restoring the healthy colonic flora. I've taken Probiotic Eleven and I really benefit from it. Russ wouldn't be without his Chinese mineral drink Mineral-Chi Tonic. It doesn't taste very good, but boy, it really works! You can feel the difference right away. It has several powerful Chinese herbs in it along with the liquid mineral concentrate. If you have (or have had) amalgam fillings ("silver" fillings), then it's important to know that mercury can cause chronic constipation (one of the many problems resulting from mercury's interference with magnesium in the body). I know several people (me included) who have benefitted from taking extra Magnesium. Of course, drinking plenty of water helps, and so does taking Algin to absorb the mercury from the colon. Plus, since Algin is a non-digestible fiber, it naturally helps constipation. Just drink plenty of water.

hi there. i was doing colonics once i got all my amalgams removed, because i was so sick. in the begining i would go once a week. and it did help some of the nervousness i had. i was going once a week for about 2 months and also doing anti-candida diet and taking stuff to rebuild the good flora in my system as the colonics were taking out bad stuff. ~janey~

Hi, I too have been having colonics done...sometimes I feel wonderful, and other times I have to go home to bed....It stirs stuff up, and also helps the liver to start draining....which can mean aggravation of symptoms, or even new ones...but all and all....your body is benefiting....take care, Sandra P [color:"blue"] [/color]
