Hey turmoiler, congratulations to you! You have taken the first and vital step towards recovery. A bit part of that was a good, safe/protected removal process. Nothing is perfect, but near enough to "as good as it pretty much can get" is good enough and would have saved you from much more exposure to mercury vapor than otherwise.

I hope that your recovery from the still remaining mercury will not be painful or long. It really does differ for everybody, but at least you know many have gone through it and maybe able to help and support you on this journey.

It's a strange thing once you rid your mouth of this poison. The body can go through some unusual changes. For me, it was almost immediate change in weight (reduction) and less bloat/puffiness. But other things got worse as my body was now trying to deal with the problem. Sometimes detox can seem worse than the actual poisoning, but it's because the body is asserting itself and trying to excrete the storage.

Again, you may not go through that as much as some do. Some can make very quick recoveries, others maybe much longer. Intensity of symptoms vary from person to person and even in the same person (from day to day, or even in the same day). It's a strange thing.

Take care and best wishes smile
