Hi Bill. I have problems with my legs. My lower legs are often very sensitive, almost hurt to touch lightly, and I have limited mobility in one hip.
I don't know if either problem is caused by mercury or something else. I always assumed something else, but now I don't know. The problem with hypersensitivity started in my teens. Once when we were doing train dance (person behind hold on to your waist and you to the one in front) it was very painful for me as it felt I was being burned. I get that sensation sometimes on my arms aswell. It kind of moves around.
Mercury does cause muscle and nerve problems though.
How is the detox going? Are you doing it gently?

You're not alone, Bill. This all gets to me aswell. Added to the stress of being unwell, is the whole trauma of getting my teeth fixed as I'm rather phobic of the dentist (could say with reason eh? lol). But the thought of getting better and what that might mean for future possibilities in life helps me to get through. Even if only some of my problems go, it's an improvement.
Hang in there. Getting the fillings out can only be good for your health. It will take time to feel better as the mercury is still in there.
Try and eat well, get some exercise and don't overdose on vitamins - find what is right for your body, which may not be what is right for the next person.
Try to take deep breaths when you are feeling anxious. It helps me. Getting ourselves worked up can cause some physical symptoms.
Keep us updated on your progess. What is the biggest problem you are having at the moment?

Yep, I know all about leg problems - shakiness and feeling like your legs are going to collapse. I also have a limitation of one hip, like Demi and a buning pain in my right foot. These things come and go and the burning, at least, seems to be helped by magnesium.

Has anyone tried a circulatory stimulant for the shaky leg and burning muscle problems? Perhaps increased blood flow would help.

Russ, what I am adding with my chelating herbs is that Horse chestnut! That herb "brooms" up the blood vessels-- and helps increase circulation in the legs and everywhere.
Also-- the foot detox pads may help Bill as well-- because they accelerate the drawing out the metals in the part of the foot that sweats out toxins (middle of the foot bottom between the arch and the heel bone).
I used these pads during every filling removal.
during my last filling removal in september - my one foot still itched and burned alot. So I wore one more for that night on that foot.
The next morning --my foot was perfect.
Just wash the feet after the pad is taken off (keep on for 8 hours) so that you clean the foot from the drawn out toxins.
Read my latest post over at the Foot Detox pads thread. My mom --who has vericose veins-- was a skeptic of them-- til she got a boil on her foot this Saturday and her foot swelled.
She wore one during the day for 8 hours- and the swelling , and boil went away!! she said the leg even felt lighter-- Now she is calling them "Miracle Pads!"
These pads shouldnt replace chelating- but they can help as an accessory to detoxifying <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />
