D ID YOU KNOW THESE FACTS?

I SURE DIDNT TILL NOW

Death is certain but the Bible speaks about untimely death!

Make a personal reflection about this.....

Very interesting, read until the end.....

It is written in the Bible (Galatians 6:7):

'Be not deceived; God is not mocked:

for whatsoever a man sow,

that shall he also reap.

Here are some men and women

who mocked God :

John Lennon (Singer):

Some years before, during his interview with an American Magazine, he said:

'Christianity will end, it will disappear.

I do not have to argue about

that. I am certain.

Jesus was ok, but his subjects were too simple, today we are more famous than Him' (1966).

Lennon, after saying that the Beatles were more famous than Jesus Christ, was shot six times.

Tancredo Neves (President of Brazil ):

During the Presidential campaign, he said if he got 500,000 votes from his party, not even God would remove him from Presidency.

Sure he got the votes, but he got sick a day before being made President, then he died.

Cazuza (Bi-sexual Brazilian composer, singer and poet):

During A show in Canecio ( Rio de Janeiro ),

while smoking his cigarette, he puffed out some smoke into the air and said:'God, that's for you.'

He died at the age of 32 of LUNG CANCER in a horrible manner.

The man who built the Titanic

After the construction of Titanic, a reporter asked him how safe the Titanic would be.

With an ironic tone he said:

'Not even God can sink it'

The result: I think you all know what happened to the Titanic

Marilyn Monroe (Actress)

She was visited by Billy Graham during a presentation of a show.

He said the Spirit of God had sent him to preach to her.

After hearing what the Preacher had to say, she said:

'I don't need your Jesus'.

A week later, she was found dead in her apartment

Bon Scott (Singer)

The ex-vocalist of the AC/DC. On one of his 1979 songs he sang:

'Don't stop me; I'm going down all the way, down the highway to hell'.

On the 19th of February 1980, Bon Scott was found dead, he had been choked by his own vomit.

Campinas (IN 2005)

In Campinas , Brazil a group of friends, drunk, went to pick up a friend.....

The mother accompanied her to the car and was so worried about the drunkenness of her friends and she said to the daughter holding her hand, who was already seated in the car:

'My Daughter, Go With God And May He Protect You.'

She responded: 'Only If He (God) Travels In The Trunk, Cause Inside Here.....It's Already Full '

Hours later, news came by that they had been involved in a fatal accident, everyone had died,

the car could not be recognized what type of car it had been, but surprisingly, the trunk was intact.

The police said there was no way the trunk could have remained intact. To their surprise, inside the trunk was a crate of eggs, none was broken

Christine Hewitt (Jamaican Journalist and entertainer)
said the Bible (Word of God) was the worst book ever written.

In June 2006 she was found burnt beyond recognition in her motor vehicle.

Many more important people have forgotten that there is no other name that was given so much authority as the name of Jesus.

Many have died, but only Jesus died and rose again, and he is still alive.

Wow - very powerful. I know of someone who had a conversation with the singer of the Rolling Bones and, although I love the song Angie by them and, admittedly, a lot of music - period - Jagger said he was deliberate in his attempts to sway people toward sex, drugs and rock and roll and if I remember right, was in cahoots with the evil one by admission. I think he's rather scrawny and lame overall... There are a lot of folks out there who get too big for their britches and forget (or never knew) who they REALLY are.

Yes, Jagger is admittedly a flavor of satanist. He has produced the music for several films that glorify types of satanism including voo doo. In fact, many rock stars and well-known politicians have admittedly "sold their soul" for their power, position, and for other "benefits".

I agree though. Angie is a catchy song.

Having been around this business through my husband who was in it and still has friends in it, I am all the more convinced in the wisdom of the scripture, for what profiteth a man if he gain the whole world but lose his own soul. Case in point, Brittney Spears... (Poor thing). Some do stay more grounded. Although John sometimes feels frustrated to not have completely made it in the big time, I feel it is a blessing. He was flown out to audition for KISS the year before we met. His blonde hair was the deciding factor in who they picked (between him and another) and then they did use a blonde guitarist after that one (to replace the guy who replaced Ace Freley). He said they are Jewish business men, basically, with a gimmick. I don't think they're even good musicians personally but I've never been able to justify the influence they have exerted on kids... (Or the lack of respect they have shown women). With fame comes power and that is a responsibility. Another friend - the one who produces Josh Groban - has remained a force for good... I have tremendous respect for him.

Great post.

It is ironic isn't it? I'll never forget, I must have been in 6th or 7th grade... the newspaper headline 'God is Dead', it made headlines, John Lennon's statement... then I was in college... sharing an apt at the time... my roommate comes running in screaming 'John Lennon was shot and killed!.. and I jsut sort of looked at her, kind of confused really at why she should be so upset, she was really upset.. and I said 'Well, John Lennon is dead then.'

She got more upset that I said that. But really, there's a big difference between John Lennon saying 'God is dead' and God saying 'John Lennon is dead'.

God is not mocked.

I used to listen to a lot of new wavy punk type stuff.. I had a couple hundred cds.. and then suddenly I was in the midst of the throes of my salvation experinece.. and Jesus was all over me... I was really a mess... I was still involved in many of my bad habits... a really big mess... and he was speaking to me, checking in daily... really, I would hear him sometimes like a person standing next to me... never saw him.. It was Yashua Hamashiach himself I do sincerely believe... and one day in the midst of it all I am in my studio in my little house.. sitting on the couch... and I turn on this real off the edge music.. cannot repeat what they were saying... but the Lord he said 'Turn it off now. those people are condemned.'

quote unquote Those people are condemned

hmmmm oh. I did turn it off. I threw a lot of cds out after that don't want them in my house anymore. I guess if I had to choose it's Jesus hands down. easy choice.

There was this big huge revival going on a couple hundred miles north of me, i never knew till a couple years later.. but I think a lot of people got saved that never made it to the church that was famous for the revival... Others have told me me some real interesting stories that closely mirror my own experience. it wasn't really just that church I think, that church was just part of a bigger plan of God's, it was going on in homes too.. like mine.

Jesus did lead us to a church nearby a while after that. things would have been a lot easier for me during it all if I had had a good church to depend on begin with.

but we got there eventually I guess.

anyway, God is not mocked. ever.

Well, to add to this. A lady my father knows had a husband who continually blasphemed and she warned him constantly to cease doing this. She felt somehow, sometime, God would punish him. But he didn't listen. Out came the blasphemies and on he went, without considering the repurcussions of whom He was offending. He died of an awful cancer of the tongue and the face.....

Now take that as you will, but there is more than a few of these happenings around. Rest assured, God ALWAYS has the last word. Vengeance belongs to Him and Him alone, which is why we are told not to seek it ourselves. He has perfect judgement on a person and knows the perfect execution of it. Certainly, He always gives a person enough grace to come to Him through repentence and this is what He wants for all. Even those who now mock Him, still He wants them to come to Him. It takes a moment to die and people are dying all the time.....can we really guarantee tommorrow? We gamble with our souls daily when we practice in sin and mocking God, either with our lives and/or with our own tongue. Active mocking/rejection/scoffing, I'd really be very very careful.

The offer of salvation is there and Christ's arms are open to all repentent sinners. Why on earth would anybody in their right mind reject such an invitation from someone who went through such a cruel/horrific death on our account? It's bewildering to me. One only has to read what wonderful things God has prepared for those that love Him. Incomparable to anything on this earth and eternal too! Not only did He die for us, but He awaits us in Heaven to give us things beyond what anything this world can ever offer. What a wonderful hope for those in this life that have nothing and have been trampled on (the "nobodies" the "forgotten", the "sick and suffering").

But what a fearful thing it is for those that have used others, abused others, have done terrible things in secret and 'gotten away with it", and/or rejected Christ and such an offer. I know we are not meant to "condemn" others, but we should certainly remind ourselves that GOD IS NOT MOCKED.

Well said Bex. My mom is a wonderful little person but has some trouble with organized religion due to bad experiences she had growing up - too much hell fire and brimstone. Didn't come off loving to her. She use to tell me she wanted to be blessed now, and not just live for the afterlife, but my stance is you are happier, too, when at peace and connected to our maker. Although in saying that, life is not intended to be easy. It is through trials that we grow... Just playing devil's advocate a bit (not literally..) trying to understand how others see it sometimes or what might keep them from wanting to have what is offered.

I have had a rough past few years...deaths in my family, health issues, betrayals... but I've come through stronger for it after pulling through after the trial of my faith. We are all in different places in our lives with regard to our spiritual growth and may have different areas we are stronger. Then one of the pitfalls when we do live "right" can be self righteousness. I think that can be bad, too in leading to pride and of course, judgmentalness. Pride causes a multitude of sins. Not said for any purpose here except one thought leads to another and I may be a little attention deficit.... I tested once as being a "rapid imaging" thinker at least.

I hadn't thought of it this way before, but interesting that its so important to Honour our Father and Mother that our days may be long on this earth. That goes for our Father in Heaven as well!!!
